Help get Jack on his way…..

Builders Beyond Borders 8/9/2011

February 8, 2011

Dear family and friends,

I’m almost there!! As you probably already heard, in March a group of 30 to 40 students from Greens Farms Academy and other local schools will be part of a team traveling to Ecuador. The goal of the trip is to help the impoverished village of Puerto el Morro by building a school for their children.  We will be working side by side with other villagers and Peace Core volunteers to accomplish our goal in only 9 days. This is not a vacation, and will be long hours and very hard physical labor. We will be working with heavy duty materials and stacking cinder blocks for up to 12 hours a day. But when it’s done, I will know that I helped make a difference in the world.

I am writing to ask that you help make a difference with me.  I only need $300 more to make my goal of $1,800.00 by February 14th….. which will cover my airfare & expenses for the trip but also will help cover building supplies and materials we need to do the job. And here is the best part – whatever you contribute will be 100 tax deductible! Any amount, no matter how small will help!!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! I will keep you posted along the way so you can see just how much your contribution has helped.
